Recorded with the classical vocalist Aarti Ankalikar-Tikekar and released at a function by Pt. Ulhas Bapat and Kishor Kadam. It was around this release, at listeners' suggestion, that he first used the stage name Sanjay Vatsal — “Vatsal” after his mother.
